Twenty years on the other side of the table.
MED BRIDGE was built by operators who spent two decades importing medical devices into Brazil — and saw the same gap, every year, from both sides.
São Paulo, Brazil
Our story
We started as importers.
For twenty years, our founder ran a medical device import company in São Paulo. Not one product — hundreds, from manufacturers all over the world. The job was always the same: find a good technology, understand whether Brazil actually needed it, secure exclusivity, and get it onto shelves and into hospitals.
Along the way we built something you can't buy: a real, working network of distributors and importers across the country, and a feel for which products succeed here and which quietly fail.
We are not a distributor anymore. We are the people who sit between you and the right distributor.
What we kept seeing
Two sides, each holding half the answer.
Nobody was closing that gap properly. So we built the bridge.
Good products, stuck at the border
Brazil is hard to read from the outside. Companies spent a year and a real budget finding a distributor, only to learn they had picked the wrong one.
Strong distributors, hungry for product
Well-capitalized importers with real distribution muscle wanted their next product, but lacked the time and global reach to find it.
One advisor, trusted by both
We bring each side the half it's missing, and structure the deal so it works for both of them years from now.
How we work
Three principles we don't negotiate on.
The first partner
The right partner
We would rather take longer to introduce the right distributor than quickly introduce the wrong one.
Oversold
An honest assessment
If Brazil isn't ready for your product, or a partner isn't a fit, you'll hear it from us first.
Five months in
Five years out
We structure exclusivity, territory and terms for the partnership you'll have in five years, not just the signature.
Our name, our mark
A viaduct, not a gatekeeper.
Two adjoining arches form our mark. The navy arch is the global manufacturer; the red arch is the Brazilian market. They share the middle pier — that's where we stand, carrying weight for both sides.
Next step
Let's find the right partner, together.
Brazil is Latin America's largest healthcare market, and it's ready for what you're building.
